The Queue: I'm turning into Rend Blackhand

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Matthew Rossi will be your host today.

If you read today's Breakfast Topic, you know why I said this. It's a really surreal feeling, let's just go with that.

Merkavar asks:
Q4TQ anyone else miss the way dungeon rewards worked in wotlk. where you got one bonus reward per day but you could save up to 7. so you could smash out 4-7 dungeons in one go instead of doing one a day. im not on every day so it would be nice if one or two days stacked

I feel much the same way. The weekend is the best time for me to get in some uninterrupted WoW time, and it would be nice if I could do a bunch of dungeons on Saturday/Sunday instead of trying to log on every day. I get why they made the change, but personally I miss the flexibility to my schedule this provided.

Alex Ziebart (yes, that Alex Ziebart) asked:
Which returning characters were you happiest to see in Warlords? Major and minor. Stipulation: No Maraad, because I know you.

I was glad to see Ariok, son of Eitrigg, because he basically just sort of vanished after the Burning Steppes, and I kept wondering what happened to him. But my absolute favorite is Exarch Maladaar, who has gone from that one pain in the butt boss from Auchindoun to one of my favorite NPC's ever. He tells Thrall that these slavers and butchers know nothing of honor. He's the only Exarch who figures out that there's a traitor in their midst. He's a cool dude.

There are a lot more, but those will do for right now. I mean, I was jazzed to see Exarch Akama, Vindicator Nobundo, Cho'gall, Rulkhan, Restalaan, the child version of Nazgrel, Rexxar, and Lantressor again, but I could seriously just write an entire queue about this subject. So let's end it here.

Vash Wilson asks:
what would blizzard have to take away from the game in order for it to not be fun for you to play anymore?

Warriors.

PyroMojo asks:
(1)QftQ:

Would you queue for 40-man raids if they made some more again?

I feel LFR creates the right kind of system to set those up quickly, and it could have a separate queue than other raids that might be faster to get into, as long as tanks and healers actually queue for it.

(2)QftQ:

Could you see as a final boss of a unknown expansion in the future; Sargeras & the Corrupted Pantheon

(That's all the Titans vs 40 of Azeroths finest)

It'd be like fighting Mount Olympus :D

No way in heck - ck + ll. No.

I would not. I would not, could not, join this raid. I do not care what has been said. I would not queue for it in space, I would not queue for it with grace. I would not, could not, in Japan, or any near or far away land. I would not raid it in my house, I would not raid it with my spouse, I wouldn't queue that is for sure for 40 mans no matter the lure. Not even raiding against the Titans would overcome my knuckles whitened. I shall not, absolutely no, queue for this once I cannot believe you think me a dunce enough to queue for 40 man raids now or ever, I wouldn't do it and that's forever. My entire arm I'd rather sever.

Chris Williams asks:
Any race/class combinations that are not currently avaliable that you would like to see that could possibly work?

Since warriors can be any race, I'd say that I'm still baffled there are no gnome hunters, blood elf druids, undead paladins (especially since we have Sir Zeliek as an example) or draenei warlocks.

Wedge McCloud asks:
People are hyped over Yrel being a "strong main female character", but a few asked me: What about Liadrin?

Tell your friends Liadrin already got all of The Burning Crusade. She was a major player in the whole blood elves get paladins storyline, she's all over the Sunwell, and she's back this time representing the Horde and blood elf paladins at Auchindoun. She's doing fine. The fact is, the draenei didn't get nearly as much lore focus during BC as the blood elves, did, and the belves even got to be part of the Quel'delar storyline in Wrath as well as having a pretty major role in Mists thanks to Lor'themar's discovery of his spine. Yrel and the draenei needed more focus.

That's the Queue for this Friday. See y'all next week.
