This post was created in partnership with The Wirecutter, a list of the best technology to buy. Read their continuously updated list of deals at TheWirecutter.com.
You may have already seen Engadget posting reviews from our friends at The Wirecutter. Now, from time to time, we'll also be publishing their recommended deals on some of their top picks. Read on, and strike while the iron is hot -- some of these sales could expire mighty soon.
Street Price: $36; MSRP: $100; Deal Price: $24
Here's a chance to solve all of your USB charging problems with a single device. This is the lowest price we've seen on this Anker charger, beating the previous low price by $3. The price is available on both the black and white models.
The Anker 60W charger is our upgrade pick in our guide on the best multiport USB charger. Nick Guy writes, "The Anker 60W is a great pick for all but the most demanding tablet users—and even then, we haven't found anything more capable."
Street Price: $100; MSRP: $130; Deal Price: $80
Not the best price we've ever seen on this printer, but close, and it beats the current street price by $20 in most areas. It's also only $10 more than the best price we've seen on the 2340 at Amazon, which is more or less the same printer.
The Brother HL-L2360DW is our runner-up pick for best cheap printer. Liam McCabe wrote, "The HL-L2360DW is almost identical to the HL-L2340DW [our main pick], and is worth grabbing if it's cheaper, easier for you to get your hands on, or if you need an Ethernet port. They're fraternal-twin Brothers (hiyo!). The L2360 can print a few extra pages per minute, but that's not important—they're both wicked fast, and you won't notice the difference."
Street Price: $23; MSRP: $90; Deal Price: $13 with code EWABW9UB
It has been almost a month since the last deal on this battery pack, which saw it drop down to $14. This price beats that deal by a dollar, and Prime Day's lightning deal by $2; however, it only applies to the Silver version. Just use the code EWABW9UBduring checkout.
The IntoCircuit Power Castle is our runner-up pick for the best USB battery pack for travel. However, our new pick, the Anker 2nd Gen Astro E4, is more than twice the price because of this deal. Liam McCabe likes the IntoCircuit because "It takes up a bit less space overall than Anker's Astro E4 (it's about the size of a fat portable hard drive), but it also has a smaller battery capacity. Of the finalists, it's the only one with a numerical charge-level indicator, which is as close as any of these packs comes to having a user interface."
