If you've wanted to try a paid streaming music service but have been skittish about the costs, you now have as good an excuse as any to give it a try. Spotify has brought back its twice-per-year Premium offer, giving you three months of full service for 99 cents (£0.99 in the UK) if you sign up between now and June 30th. And yes, there's a deal if you gave up on Spotify and are considering coming back -- if you canceled Premium at any time before April 15th, you can get three months for $10.

It's likely this promo will continue to be a Spotify mainstay for the foreseeable future. Spotify Premium recently racked up its 100 millionth subscriber, and deals like this could keep that momentum going by attracting customers who decide to stick around once their discounted three months are over. There's also the not-so-small matter of competition. Apple Music already has more than 50 million subscribers despite being just a few years old, and Spotify's 99-cent Premium offer could lock customers in before they've been tempted by the company's archrival.
