Die Berliner Firma OMSTUDIOS hat ihre Kameradrohne OM-Copter für die Edelkamera Red Epic M vorgestellt. Mit der im September offiziell erschienenen Kamera werden derzeit unter anderem "The Hobbit" von Peter Jackson und "Avatar 2" von James Cameron gedreht, der OM-Copter soll sie in luftige Höhen entführen und für waghalsige Schwenks sorgen, wo ein Kran schwer aufzubauen ist. Bis zu 150 Meter hoch und knapp 100 Meter vom Piloten entfernt kann die wendige Drohne fliegen, innerhalb von 15 Minuten ist sie startklar.
