Tommi Koskinen war gelangweilt von herkömmlichen MIDI-Controllern und hat sich deswegen mit einem Arduino Mega 2560 als Herzstück den sogenannten UFO (Ultrasonic Frequency Controller) gebastelt. UFO funktioniert mit fünf Ultraschallsensoren, welche die vertikale Bewegung der Hand in MIDI-Daten umwandeln. So will Koskinen erreichen, dass elektronische Musik live mit mehr Ausdruck dargeboten wird, was mit dem UFO durchaus gelingen könnte: Seht selbst in den Videos nach dem Break.
