Hatte irgendwer noch Zweifel an der Echtheit der Amazon Prime Air Geschichte? Pakete via Drohne direkt vor die Haustür fliegen zu lassen, war die Idee, die nicht nur in den USA auf diverse Probleme mit den Regulierungsbehörden stößt, geschweige denn gesellschaftliche und sonstige Bedenken. In einem gerade veröffentlichten "2013 Letter to Shareholders" von Jeff Bezos wird allerdings kein Zweifel daran gelassen, dass das Projekt auf Hochtouren läuft.

"The Prime Air team is already flight testing our 5th and 6th generation aerial vehicles, and we are in the design phase on generations 7 and 8."
