Im Laufe des Jahres dürfte es einen ganzen Satz neue Emojis geben. Das Unicode Consortium hat eine Liste von 51 Kandidaten vorgestellt, die mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit Mitte des Jahres veröffentlicht werden. Darunter sind zwei Dinosaurier, Kulinarisches wie Brezel, Glückskekse und ein Stück Fleisch, aber auch neue Smilies (unter anderem mit Monokel oder sich übergebend) und erstmalig auch Piktogramme ohne spezifisches Geschlecht. Man bemüht sich bekanntlich bei Unicode schon länger für mehr Inklusion. Findet unten die vollständige Liste.
