HTC kauft sich bei Beats Electronics ein, Dr. Dre wird Android-Fan


HTC ist seit geraumer Zeit auf Einkaufstour, die regelmäßig besser werdenen Quartalszahlen des Smartphone-Herstellers machen es möglich. Jetzt geht es um Beats Electronics. 300 Millionen Dollar hat HTC auf den Tisch gelegt, um sich beim Audiospezialisten für mobile Geräte einzukaufen und Beats by Dr. Dre zukünftig auch in HTC-Telefonen zu verbauen. Bessere Lautsprecher können die Handys allemal vertragen. Und HP sollte sich überlegen, ob Laptops oder auch das TouchPad noch mehr Alleinstellungsmerkmale haben, als eben jene Audio-Technik: Ab Herbst ist man nicht mehr der einzige Anbieter, der sich damit brüsten kann.
