Lo estábamos esperando ansiosamente y no ha faltado a su cita. El Optimus Pad LTE de LG es oficial: se trata de un tablet con un grosor de apenas 9,3 milímetros, procesador Qualcomm de doble núcleo a 1,5 GHz, pntalla IPS de 8,9 pulgadas /1.280 x 768), cámara trasera de 8 megapíxeles y frontal de 2 MP, slot para tarjetas SD (soporta capacidades de hasta 32 GB), conectividad por HDMI e incluso certificación DLNA. Todo ello está alimentado por una batería de 6.800 mAh y llegará al mercado con Android 3.2 (por el momento no se menciona cuándo podrá disfrutar de Ice Cream Sandwich). Se le espera inicialmente en su Corea del Sur natal, pero esperemos que supere sus fronteras.
