Engadget Review

The second time's a charm for Acer: the company's refreshed S7 Ultrabook addresses all the things we disliked about the original. Just be prepared to pay a premium over competing laptops with similar specs.

Honestly, I don't suggest this to anyone. While the computer is great and all in pretty much all aspects except design, if you expect yourself to be using the laptop at all while its plugged in then you have a completely different thing coming to you. A simple slight bump of the power cord will cause it to completely fall out and stop charging. Also the size of the power cord is slightly smaller than the connector on the computer which allows for you to jiggle the power cord inside the connector causing it to go in and out of charging. This may not sound like a big issue, but I promise if you try and use it while charging for more than five minutes you will understand my frustrations. I highly suggest not buying this and looking for a same priced alternative.

I bought the refurbished version of this, returned one whose battery was not connected properly but since then have not been happier. The features all speak for themselves, but the build feel is also really impressive. It's got a metal keyboard that really feels nice and sturdy and the hinge is really smooth and firm.
