there were more cables than i knew what to do with. i had pretty much everything hooked in minus the optical wire (for sound), and once i figured that out, everything worked smoothly. again, it's not difficult, just more time consuming than i expected (i basically wanted to plug it in and start playing right away.)

Love the Astro MixAmp 5.8 I use it on my PC everyday, not just for gaming, but also when listening to music and watching movies, I love the fact that it makes any wired headset wireless, my only complaint about it (nothing major, only user preference) is that it would have been nicer if they put the activate Dolby Surround Sound button on the RX and not the TX, that way, you can enable surround sound or disable it wirelessly, without having to go to the base station

The Astro Gaming Wireless Mixamp gave me everything I wanted in a audio system. I previously had the Wires Mixamp and love it, but want the freedom of no cords. The Wireless Mixamp gave me the goodness or the original Mixamp and the freedom to move around.Setup up was very easy (it helps if you have a TOSLink cable), once you set up, you are good to go. If you want to use a gaming headset with your PS3 or Xbox, I highly recommend the Astro Gaming Wireless Mixamp 5.8!
