Buffalo's DriveStation DDR offers speedy performance, copious amounts of storage, and a classy design, all bundled into a reasonably-priced external drive. The DriveStation has a USB 3.0 port which makes transferring files rather quick, and CNET says the DDR is "just ridiculously fast," while Laptop Magazine says they "copied a single 2.36GB MP4 video to the DriveStation in 9 seconds ... copying that same file off the drive took just 13 seconds." Buffalo opted for a passive cooling system for the drive, and as a result, CNET says the drive is "very quiet." The DriveStation DDR delivers speed and quietness to those who need a quick backup solution for their home desktop or laptop.
