How we score

The Engadget Score is a unique ranking of products based on extensive independent research and analysis by our expert editorial and research teams. The Global Score is arrived at only after curating hundreds, sometimes thousands of weighted data points (such as critic and user reviews).

Engadget Summary

Whether you need to print drafts or photos from your latest vacation the Pixma MX892 will produce print quality that wont disappoint you. Since the MX892 supports Airprint, you can also print photos from your phone or iPad with ease. Unfortunately, you may need to wait a while to see those prints, since the MX892 has a rather slow print speed, coming in slower than other comparable printers by 3ppm. Its high print cost also means you wont be printing every picture either.

Canon's G1 X Mark III is its first APS-C sensor compact

It has an eye-watering $1,299 price and less powerful zoom than before, though.
