    Engadget Summary

Cougar is a company that gamers trust when building a homebrew machine, but how will that trust fare in Cougar's attempt at a gaming peripheral, the 700M? Pretty well, actually, with the 700M delivering the high quality and performance gamers have come to expect from Cougar, wrapped up in an attractive package.

Overclock3D.net calls the 700M "visually arresting" and Hardware Heaven finds it "well constructed" with a "sturdy" aluminum frame. Indeed, Benchmark Reviews says it's a "highly ergonomic tool" with build quality and design that put it "a cut above the rest."

A pleasing, comfortable exterior only sets the stage for the 700M's gaming performance, with TweakTown finding it can "read anything you can dish at it in the fastest gameplay." Benchmark Reviews liked the "definite tactile feedback from the buttons," which Overclock3D says provides "the reassuring click that we've all come to love." And in terms of customizing what those buttons do, TweakTown says the 700M "has your needs met from every angle with options that will fit your style exactly," including macros and lighting.

The Cougar 700M delivers pretty much everything a gamer could want or need in a mouse, at a price point that puts many competitors to shame.
