Dell XPS 15 (late 2015)

Engadget Review
If you've been searching for a Windows-based alternative to the MacBook Pro, look no further than the Dell XPS 15. For a similar price, it offers comparable horsepower, a thin and light design and a brilliant 4K screen option. The one area where it really trails Apple is battery life: You won't want to stray far from an outlet unless you spring for the optional 18,000mAh mobile charger.

It's thin and powerful, but don't leave home without the charger.

As anyone who has suffered sibling rivalry knows, sibling means sibling. Not twin. Siblings have to find their own path forward, not just follow, and the XPS 15 does that quite well.PC Mag80Dell XPS 15 Touch (9550)The Dell XPS 15 Touch (9550) might cost a pretty penny, but it's one of the best high-end desktop-replacement laptops for photo and video work, whether you're a hobbyist or a professional.ZDNet90Dell XPS 15 review: A pro laptop that throws downThe XPS 15 will certainly appeal to creative users who need to work with high-definition photos and videos. It's good value for money too, and with its slimline design and elegant edge-to-edge display the XPS 15 shows that Dell is capable of taking on Apple at its own game.CNET90Dell XPS 15 review: A big screen that stands out iThe Dell XPS 15 is a premium-feeling 4K laptop that outdoes the MacBook Pro in several categories. Its bezel-free design should be the gold standard going forward.Ars Technica80Dell XPS 15 review: A bigger version of the best PThe external features that made the XPS 13 so good are all retained, and some of the internals have received a hefty upgrade. If you're more comfortable with a larger laptop or want to run heavier workloads that need the extra oomph that the XPS 15 has to offer, it's a fine choice.Laptop Magazine80Dell XPS 15 ReviewDell's XPS 15 combines style and speed using a slick design, resulting in a premium 15-inch system that's a joy to use.TechRadar80Dell XPS 15 reviewA powerful 15-inch laptop squeezed into a 14-inch sized chassis, the XPS 15 is a great fit for productivity work, gaming and entertainment thanks to its excellent 4K display. Just watch out for its lacklustre battery life, poor speakers and and shallow keyboard.Notebookcheck70Dell XPS 15 2016 Laptop ReviewThe XPS 15 is an impressive notebook even if it doesn’t “quite” deliver the absolute best value in its class.TrustedReviews80Dell XPS 15 reviewIt’s not cheap, but the XPS 15 looks great, feels fantastic and performs like a champion. Dell has produced the ultimate Windows 10 laptop. Apple should look over its shoulder.
