Engadget Review

The Spectre x360 is one of our new favorite laptops, thanks to its premium design, fast performance, vibrant screen and comfortable keyboard. It's relatively heavy compared to competing laptops, but it mostly makes up for it with nearly best-in-class battery life.

HP manages to jolt not only the very best convertibles (Lenovo's Yoga 3 Pro, for instance) but Apple's MacBook Air with a thin, elegant, brilliant laptop hybrid.

This Windows laptop really is as good or better than an Apple MacBook Air in almost every way imaginable. But is that enough to convince Apple owners?

HP's premium Spectre x360 2-in-1 ultrabook/tablet has big performance, but it screen is just too reflective.

At $999 for the configuration we tested, not only is the Spectre X360 competitively priced for a machine of this type, but its battery life and performance are class-leading, and its fit-and-finish are great. HP knocked it out of the park with the Spectre X360.
