As you'd expect, the keyboard dock packs a second battery, though it also makes room for an optional 500GB hard drive to complement the SSD inside the actual tablet.Pocket-Lint70HP Split x2 reviewAs a laptop there’s some good here - hence the score being fair, it’d be lower if there wasn’t some success in its at-home laptop highs - but as a tablet-laptop device the Split x2 makes even the Surface Pro 2 look like a beanpole.

It isn't bad, exactly, but also doesn't do anything particularly well. - EngadgetEngadget Reader90October 3, 2014Feedback submitted!Unable to submit feedback! The best in its category. Design flaws make it difficult to use. Took a chance on this as it was open box at a great discount. Loved it out of the box, but as I used it over the next day or so, the design flaws became too much too bear. Hinge design totally cuts into your legs if sitting on your lap. Detachable tablet is heavier than other 10.1 tablets and forma factor makes it hard to hold. Outdated out of the box with a 3rd Gen Core i3 and 2GB of non-upgradeable ram. Touch screen worked well; ran smooth despite older processor and limited ram; but this was without a bunch of programs loaded. Who knows what will happen with speed once multiple programs are loaded over time.
