The first one I receive had major problems locking up and dropping it's network connection. It's replacement works great for what I want which is a portable rechargeable AirPlay speaker for the kitchen which can be taken out onto the patio. I have a pretty solid network using 2 Apple TVs and 2 other airplay speakers so I have not experience any audio or network drop outs as others have.It does not have good power management. Once turned on it stays on, even when running on the battery with no audio playback. It needs to turn off or go into sleep mode if nothing is playing after a period of time.Audio quality is OK but I wouldn't use it for my main music player. It is still good for the patio and playing podcasts or streaming radio which normally are not high quality any ways. Still it is fairly high priced for what you get, for that it loses points.

The wireless connection (the reason I bought it) doesn't work and customer support is only available m-f 8-4 est, don't they realize that consumers have to work to pay for these things. So I now have a very very expensive "wired" speaker

Problem with airplay and iPhone 4S. Sound keeps dropping when using AirPlay from other devices as well.
