Jambox broke after two uses. trying to get a replacement product but jawbone are not very helpful. They want £30 + 5 week waiting for a new speaker. I already spent £180 they must be joking. Really bad customer service beware!!

Big Jambox is King to my ears. I give it a 10 for the sound quality alone. To add: The battery life is unbeatable. Money is no option for me and I have listened to all the competition. I've had the BJ for over a year now and kicks as well now as when I first got it. I see a lot of new product from everybody but if I had to buy again I would still get the Big Jambox,

The sound is excellent. The set up is easy. The updates are fun. The build quality is solid. I would have preferred the corners to be seamed with some sort of rubberized material and the speaker itself to have a water resistant covering. No other negatives.

The sound is great; loud, clear, BUT the bass is average. Maybe Jawbone can make an optional add-on subwoofer? It is really loud for a speaker of this size. The overall design is simple, as are the controls. Battery life is surprisingly great. Bluetooth pairing works flawlessly. The Jambox can be updated when connected to a computer. Best of all, you CAN take it anyware.Wishlist: To wirelessly link a bunch of Big Jambox to put around the house. The grill should be detachable for easy cleaning.

The bluetooth, as expected from a company that makes bluetooth headsets, is perfect. It'll keep two devices connected which means you and your partner can both have your phones connected and trade off playing music. It connects immediately to both Android and iOS with a satisfying "ding" every time you get within range. It sounds great at medium and high levels. It keeps up with my main stereo surprisingly well in terms of sound quality, only really falling on low lows, where it can't keep up with a dedicated sub. However, at low levels in a quite room (a bedroom at night, an empty office with the Jambox on your desk) there is an audible hiss. Jawbone says that a hiss is normal, but you shouldn't be able to hear it once the music starts. However, that's not what I've experience and there are many posts in their forums saying the same thing.I was pretty disappointed at first in the hissing at low levels, but it works so well in every other regard I've looked past it.

I had some experience with the original Jambox, but was never truly impressed with the sound that would come out of it. I wanted something with a bit more bass, and its older brother, the Big Jambox, filled that void perfectly. I use it often with my iPad, iPhone, and even my PS3 on occasion (for some odd reason, it doesn't work with my Vita. ah, well). It's stood up to some rough times (family has dropped it a couple of times) but it keeps working.
