Kia Niro EV (2019)
An outstanding EV for folks not looking to make a design statement. It’s comfortable, has plenty of room and ships standard with advanced drivers assist systems. The brakes are a bit aggressive, but being behind the wheel is otherwise surprisingly fun.
- ADAS features standard
- Lots of cargo and passenger space
- Just enough power to have fun while driving
- Aggressive brakes
- No one-pedal driving

It’s a practical 5-door hatchback with excellent materials and build quality. It has 239 miles of range, which is good but might even be a bit conservative because the car we tested had an indicated 255 miles of range when we first got behind its steering wheel.Pocket-Lint100Kia e-Niro review: An electric car that's easy to loveIt might not appeal to the heart on first look, but it will appeal to your head. If you're in the market for a practical electric car with bundles of range then the Kia e-Niro is right up the list to consider - if you can get one.Wired UK90Precisely what Tesla's Model 3 should have beenThe Kia will slot into your life, end your dependency on fossil fuel, and let you get on as if nothing has changed. It’s what the electric car should be.Forbes80Is This The Tipping Point?I could see making space for a Niro EV next to my gasoline-powered pickup truck. 90-percent of my transportation needs could be easily handled by the EV, and I’d get a lot of driving pleasure out of the Niro – not to mention the savings in operating costs.

Best standard feature is Adaptive cruise. Usually a price add on option. We rotate about 2 new cars / year amount 4 drives. We have drivin just about every thing on 4 wheels. My wife, a very selective driver, claims this is the best vehicle she has ever driven. Yes even tops my corvette and the telsa- in her opinion ( she value good visibility more than me :). Android Auto areal plus. would like to seen power driver seat on the standard level. a real bargain especially with the full $7500 fed tax credit.Allen90May 24, 2019Feedback submitted!Unable to submit feedback! My Niro EV is an awesome little car! It is electric, but you don't need a computer science degree to use it. It acts and works like a car. Great fun to drive and my kids actually love the back seat....that's saying something. The paddle regenerative braking is one of my favorite things to plan with but does take some getting used to if you have never used a hybrid or EV before....but you don't have to use it. In addition, at least so far I'm averaging over 260 miles of range per charge. While I'm sure that will drop this winter, the heat pump battery warmer should help a lot. Awesome electric car that doesn't scream "I'm electric" or have some weird or funky styling element.
