Engadget Review

The Lenovo Smart Tab P10 is a 2-in-1 Android tablet that transforms into a surprisingly capable Echo Show clone when docked into a companion Bluetooth speaker. It offers a great screen, solid audio quality and is a lot more functional than Amazon’s own smart display. All told, the Smart Tab P10 delivers an impressive amount of functionality, especially at this price.

Tech Advisor
The P10 is ultimately a fairly budget tablet, with lightweight specs, old software, and a simple feature set, masked in part by slick-but-simple design that leaves it looking and feeling more premium than it really is. If it wasn't for the included dock, this would be fairly unremarkable, so it's really only worth buying if the idea of a tablet that doubles as an Echo Show really speaks to you.

Android Central
Powered by Android Oreo and Amazon Alexa, the P10 is a better option than the Amazon Fire tablets for a smooth Android Tablet experience. The Echo Show is a more elegant solution if you don't need a tablet, but it does its job, both in Show mode and Tablet mode.

Notebookcheck
The Lenovo Tab P10 is more aesthetically pleasing than most Android tablets. Its glass back looks great, and it doubles as a smart screen when connected to the new Lenovo Smart Dock thanks to its integration with Amazon Alexa. However, the device is powered by a lowly Snapdragon 450 SoC, and the dock is only available to purchase as part of a bundle with the tablet, so it is not all smooth sailing.

A tablet and smart speaker with display in one, Lenovo has managed to inject more life into the tablet concept

Good Housekeeping
It’s not as fast as some tablets on the market but we think it is great value for money as it brings you all of the benefits of a smart display.

The Lenovo Smart Tab P10 is one of those quirks in the tablet space. It really positions itself on a higher pedestal by offering Amazon Alexa integration – something you won’t find too often in this segment.

Digital Trends
The Lenovo Smart Tab P10 is an affordable hybrid that’s decidedly average as tablet or smart display.

Long story short, if you’ve been holding out for an Alexa-enabled smart display, but nothing has really wowed you yet, you should check it out!

Android Authority
Unfortunately, the P10's Android experience is far from great. The tablet is suitable for occasional Netflix streaming and web surfing, but if you want the Echo Show experience, buy a smart display from Amazon.

The product makes sense though. Your tablet is in a useful location when you need it, and it's a smart display when you're not using it. If that sounds like something that you can get behind, and you prefer Amazon Alexa over Google Assistant, you're good to go.
