... the Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ scores well for being an exuberant alternative to other tablet devices. It won't suit all, but after a long weekend's use it's turned our preconceptions around far more than we had anticipated.

During our brief time with Yoga Tablet 10 HD+, we found the fit and finish to be nice enough, thanks to the aluminum and chrome body. On top of silver, there's now a champagne-colored model that'll only come to the Asian market.

The 10 HD+ features a 1920 x 1200 resolution 10.1-inch screen - a significant pixel increase over the previous model's rather pedestrian 1280 x 800. The rear camera also sees a bump up to 8 megapixels over the previous 5. The front-facing camera now uses a 1.6-megapixel sensor.

Like the Yoga Tablet 10 before it, the Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ can be positioned in three different "modes," in addition to plain vanilla landscape mode. We enjoyed positioning the device in stand mode, which is perfect for presentations or media viewing.

Lenovo has clearly listened to the criticisms of its first Yoga tablet and seems to have resolved many of the issues holding it back. In particular I am pleasantly surprised by quite how much better the screen is.

You'll be greeted by a 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 "20/20 Vision" display, a dramatic increase over the original. The display, while being extremely clear, also adjusts images and test on-screen to best fit the current lighting for an optimal viewing experience.

We really love the screen on this new Lenovo Yoga, but the fact is the resolution still lags behind some other larger-screened tablets such as the iPad Air. The difference is price - this tablet is significantly cheaper than many competitors and is still quite powerful.
