Engadget Review

In the G3, LG has almost produced a power user's dream. That QHD display, responsive performance and decent battery life make for a fully loaded handset that should have broad appeal. Sadly, until we know the price, its overall value is yet to be determined.

Well i had this phone because i wanted to try out android for once and from the first few days it was awesome screen res was amazing i was very satisfied then i noticed it started to lag everytime i swiped over and when im signing in it got fairly annoying having this phone for about 6 months. somehow with a good case on it the screen shattered from literally probly 1 and a half feet and of course it only cost like 250 for a new screen was not thrilled at all on that as i take great care of my stuff.this past month for no reason what so ever it decided that it would shut on and off completly randomly when im in a call or anything this was extremely frustrating it would happen about ever 15 mins the phone would restart. now about 3 weeks later the phone just started going on and off on and off at this point it was not working at all i couldn't even get into my phone. So all in all maybe i had a dysfunctional phone or its just garbage but i picked up a iphone 5s and called her a day because i never have any problems with iphones they are just well designed. Oh yeah and i forgot this thing is a virus whore there was nothing i could do to get rid of them except a factory reset. The virus include random calls and taking me to random stupid sites and bringing me to scummy apps that no one likes. Never getting an android again.

Really can find almost nothing to complain about, has a number of improvements over G2. Love the size, can browse the web very easily and feels comfortable to read most anything. The screen is exceptionally sharp. Screen looks better than I thought it would in bright light, don't even keep it 100% bright most of the time. On a travel day, I used it pretty heavily from about 9am to 10 at night before the battery needed charging, but watching videos on the brightest setting will drain it faster. Great that I can pop in a replacement battery. Customizable and retractable home touch buttons and customizable keyboard are great additions. Premium build quality has a metallic look with the advantages of polycarbonate, better signal reception, doesn't dent or scratch as easily, and Comsumer Reports tests show LG and Samsung are the strongest phones. Overall the phone feels near perfect.

This phone is awsome! The only problem is battery, its weak! You can already update it from kitkat to lolipop (5.0). Phone is not laggy! 9/10

Chinese font is very bad. Not uniform. Not good looking. Edge too thin, too sharp, not comfortable to see. The font is like a primary school student artwork

I just can't put this phone down. Even at low brightness the display is incredibly crisp and clear. Performance is quick, snappy, responsive. Tweaks such as Nova Launcher, Greenify, and G3 TweaksBox, have allowed me to get this just running the way I like it. SD card slot up to 128 Gig? I am set!
