Overall, there's a lot to like about the Droid Razr Maxx. This phone has a great 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced qHD display with scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass as well as a fast 1.2GHz dual core processor and 1GB of RAM.

The Maxx is proof to every phone manufacturer that it really is possible to make a slender (and absolutely stunning) device that can actually survive more than a full days' worth of heavy use. So what does the Maxx really offer to the rest of the mobile community? A sense of optimism.

If you want a smartphone that’s uncompromising about battery life and also includes 4G LTE connectivity, the Droid RAZR MAXX is a no brainer, especially over the Droid RAZR sans MAXX.

In many ways, the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx is the smartphone the Droid Razr should have been. Adding a powerful battery yet keeping a slim and trim size makes this excellent Android handset extremely tempting.

The DROID RAZR MAXX features solid, attractive hardware and Motorola’s Smart Actions feature makes it one of the smartest smartphones I’ve ever used. Even still, I can’t in good conscience recommend this device when Verizon Wireless offers the Samsung Galaxy Nexus at the same $299.99 price point.

The MAXX is an above-average smartphone by just about anyone's definition. We'd probably prefer a removable battery, but the larger capacity on the MAXX lessens that pain. It wouldn't surprise us in the least to see it phase out the original Droid RAZR altogether. That's good news for new buyers, but it's gotta leave a bad taste in the mouths of the early adopters.

We still love our original Razr, and the Maxx adds an incredible battery to a great handset. It does take away a lot of the charm and style of the original, but it's so much better as a result of the battery life, we forgive its slight lack of beauty.

The Motorola Razr Maxx has great stamina so you won’t be anxious if you forgot to charge it overnight. It goes for days... When it’s upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich, this will be an even more compelling phone.

The Razr Maxx is an enhanced Razr with a lot more battery life, though at the cost of a slightly thicker chassis. It's a great smartphone to get, especially if you want a workhorse that won't die on you while you max out your data allowance.

The Motorola RAZR MAXX looks like the right phone for people with busy, always on the go lifestyle, who are looking to finally get rid of that ugly but reliable dumbphone or don't want to worry anymore about finding a power socket to top off their battery before the next leg of their journey.
