Engadget Review

The Moto 360 is the most attractive Android Wear device you can buy right now, with a design that's more reminiscent of a regular watch. Even so, it suffers from poor battery life, just like other early smartwatches, and it has a higher price, too.

I had read about terrible battery life in a lot of reviews, and this really was something I was worried about when I bought the watch. But, luckily, it seems that an update fixed this, an update which was released even before I got the watch. No battery problems for me, I usually end up with around 40% left at the end of the day (from 7 till 11 o’clock). I use Spotify Premium with wireless speakers and headphones, so I don’t have the need to store any music on my watch. Because of that I can’t really say mutch about the storage. It’s enough for me, but I have very few apps installed on the watch itself. Love the design, and, as a sailor, love the fact that it’s waterproof. The heart sensor doesn’t work anymore, don’t know why that is.. I don’t own watch for a really long time and I’m sure that Motorola would send me a replacement if I’d send mine in, but I don’t actually use it so it’s not worth the effort.

Wrist notifications and voice commands may not seem like a big deal, but after you actually use one, it's hard to go back! I'm one of those "Alert New Yorkers, who doesn't like to sit in public with my attention on my device instead of my surroundings, with my Moto360 I rarely need to pull out my phone for anything... Except for Music selection! The Voice Commands are On Point for me and required Zero voice training! The power of Google Now is Amazing when used properly, like setting reminders, appointments, making calls, replying to messages all via voice is flawless and saves a ton of time for me!While Google Play has an Awesome selection of Watch Faces, I HIGHLY Recommend getting Watchmaker from the Google Play Store and checking out BADAPPS.fr and FaceRepo.com for a seemingly endless and growing amount of Watch Faces!!!If I had to complain, it would be about it being slow to get updates to latest Android Version and the music controls. When it's set to my phones default player and I say "Play Music", it's just opens the player on my phone, seems like to fully utilize music controls I may need to try Google Music. To compensate I use Bluetooth Beats Headphones, so I just press the play button on my right ear.Seems like they could consolidate some the screens for apps. Being forced to scroll to the next screen for things that could fit on the initial screen sucks a little!

This was my first Android Wear watch and I was very happy with it, however it lasted about half a year before I had to return it to Amazon because the bottom started cracking where the strap connects to the watch. The heart rate sensor worked one every fifty times I tried, so it's completely useless. The screen is bright even if strong sunlight, so that's not a problem either.

It has a good design, the screen is very good, the battery lasts one day easily. The features are pretty cool and useful as well. I think the only serious problem is due to the battery that is easily drained when using the applications and the unnecessary light sensor that makes the screen half round.

Paying for coffee with a barcode on the watch is really cool.
