I recently purchased this phone during the HSN sale for a cool $200. It's been a wonderful device so far, especially in its design, ease of use, and overall speed. My previous two phones were a nexus 4 and a lumia 521. When compared to the Nexus 4 I would say the devices are roughly comparable in speed and call quality. I prefer the design of the Lumia both aesthetically and functionally since I have not needed to use a case with it but both are pretty phones. The camera is drastically better on the lumia, as is the battery life though if you're a heavy app user the play store lineup is much better. Overall they're both premium phones in the sub $300 dollar price segment and you can't really go wrong either way. Nonetheless I prefer the build quality, camera, battery, and even the OS of the Lumia over that of the Nexus. The comparison with the 521 is extremely one-sided, as they're not directly comparable phones. I really enjoyed my 521 as it's been extremely durable and surprisingly functional as a smart phone at a low pricepoint. That being said its camera leaves a lot to be desired and though it is relatively quick to navigate around WP 8 the difference in performance is notable. I would guess the 521, due to its lighter more plasticity materials, is more durable because dropping it on the ground simply causes the rear shell to come off and there are no glass panes to break, but aside from that there are few advantages to it. Overall I'm a really big fan of the 925 and can't wait for the 8.1 update to come down the pipe and enhance the value of what is a $200 premium smart phone even further.
