The Engadget Score is a unique ranking of products based on extensive independent research and analysis by our expert editorial and research teams. The Global Score is arrived at only after curating hundreds, sometimes thousands of weighted data points (such as critic and user reviews).

Engadget Summary

Comfort, accuracy, and customization options -- a good gaming mouse needs these to succeed, and the 2014 edition of the Razer Naga has them in spades. Though the original Naga already hit good marks in the design and comfort departments, the changes to the new Naga mean it does "a better job of filling the user’s hand, is easier to control, and feels more natural at first touch," according to Digital Trends, saying the "the revised design will better fit more gamers." But it isn't just a grip that's been improved, with buttons that PC World says "are far more functional than its predecessors" and their "tactile and audible feedback should help you know exactly when buttons are being clicked." Of course, what makes or breaks a mouse is its accuracy, and while PC World finds the 8200 dpi "ludicrous," Hardware Heaven says the sensitivity is "absolutely amazing." While good gaming mice can be found for cheaper, the comfy design, crazy accuracy, and the plethora of buttons on the 2014 Razer Naga means that you won't be feeling any buyer's remorse at your next match.
