The Droid Charge is a total sleeper. We'll be perfectly honest that we weren't expecting to be wowed but, well, we're certainly impressed...overall, this is a very good phone. The only real disappointment? A plastic design that probably will be looking a bit rough after a few months in your pocket.
The DROID Charge by Samsung, however, is a far more balanced device, with plenty on its own to recommend it. The plastic chassis doesn’t exactly inspire us with confidence, but the Super AMOLED Plus display is a joy and the battery life sufficient for a day’s use.
The Samsung Droid Charge is a phone that comes with an awesome data speed connectivity, but it does so in style: the design looks great, the phone feels good, and although its raw performance could be better, the sheer network speed should make the experience enjoyable.
A question you'll undoubtedly ask is "If I don't have 4G, why would I want this phone?" Well, maybe one day you will have LTE data. And in the meantime, you're getting a very nice smartphone with a beautiful (large) screen -- one certainly worth of its "Droid" name.
The LTE speeds dazzle, the AMOLED display shines, and you get a free mobile hotspot at least for a little while. What’s not to like? Well, the battery life disappoints, but that may not be enough to spoil the fun.
