There's a lot to like about this in spite of a few flaws.

How we score

The Engadget Score is a unique ranking of products based on extensive independent research and analysis by our expert editorial and research teams. The Global Score is arrived at only after curating hundreds, sometimes thousands of weighted data points (such as critic and user reviews).

Engadget Summary

There are plenty of flash drives smaller and cheaper than the Sandisk Extreme USB 3.0 (we're partial to Sandisk's tiny and inexpensive Cruzer Fit). But if you're looking for a fast flash drive to keep up with the USB 3.0 ports on your new Ultrabook, the Extreme USB 3.0 is a great option, especially in larger capacities, so you can use that high-speed port to transfer large files or stream media.
