This small mouse is perhaps my main go-to while travelling or out about - where I don't need too much prolonged fine movement (CAD work). The beauty of this mouse is it comes with a stick mouse mat that you can attach to your laptop. Yes, it makes it look ugly but it means you don't need another surface to use the mouse. Although the company recommends putting it over your trackpad I placed mine to the side. The sticky pad comes with a small magnetic pad where you can rest the mouse when using the keyboard - so it doesn't slide off when you're actually using your laptop on you lap! There's not much to configure with this mouse since it doesn't use any custom software. However you can fine tune the up direction via hardware and also to turn on a "touch-activation" feature.Touch-ActivationThis is a great feature where the mouse will activate and move the cursor only when you grip the mouse with 2-fingers - or more precisely when it detects a touch on the right side of the mouse where the black rubber grip is. This allows you to move the mouse out of the way (using your thumb) and sit it on the magnetic pad without moving your cursor on the screen. Once you get used to where to position your fingers you'll wonder how you done without something like this. Simply because this mouse is designed to sit, and live on your laptop itself! The 2 minor problems with this mouse us the lack of a middle mouse button - it's not major but working with CAD programs means that it is a little inefficient after a while. Also despite the small size it's fairly high. Meaning that if you are using a thin laptop bag it tends to stick out a bit and doesn't 'sit' comfortably in some of the pockets.
