Engadget Review

The Swift 2 X is undoubtedly the best smartphone in the Swift 2 family on paper, as it doesn't share anything in common with the original Swift. Not only does it have the aluminium frame, faster processor, fingerprint reader and NFC, but it's the only device with an upgraded 5.2-inch, 1080p display. For that, though, you have to pay £30 on top of the price of the Swift 2 Plus, which isn't unreasonable if display resolution is a priority for you. But at £219, the Swift 2 X finds itself in a price bracket filled with competing smartphones that boast many of the same specs and features.

A stunning design joins an impressive array of specs and pleasing user experience to make this a phone that not only tops most within its price bracket, but many more expensive handsets too.

If you're pushed for cash but still want a phone stuffed with features, the Wileyfox Swift 2X is ideal.

The Wileyfox Swift 2 X isn’t really a leap in specs compared with the excellent Swift 2 Plus, but for anyone who demands Full HD visuals on their mobile, this certainly delivers.

The Inquirer
With the update still to come, we're giving the Wileyfox Swift 2 X a solid seven beers out of 10: it's good, but even at this price, not quite good enough.

Expert Reviews
Wileyfox’s Swift 2X isn’t a bad phone, but there’s hardly anything about it worth recommending, especially considering it’s £220, which is verging on the mid-range when it comes to smartphones these days.

If you won't be seen dead with anything less than a 1080p screen on your smartphone, it fits the bill. Splashing out an extra £30 will probably be worth it if you spend a lot of time watching videos or playing games. The extra battery life is a bonus, too.
