It seems that within the past year or so every electronics company has tried mightily to connect us to internet content. But with all the options out there, it can be very difficult to figure out which is the best for you. So when the manufacturer of your TV makes a media streamer designed specifically for your set, you'd be crazy to not give it a look (at the very least). And with this in mind, we decided to spend some time with the Sony Bravia Link. It should go without saying that if you don't have a Sony HDTV, then you might as well read on to the next topic, but if you do, click through. %Gallery-35866%

Tired of watching Amazon Video on Demand, Dailymotion and YouTube videos on your BRAVIA Internet Video Link? Coming through on its promise to send Hancock to Sony HDTV owners first, Sony Pictures is offering the flick (in 720p or 480p, depending on bandwidth) for $9.99 starting October 28 through November 10, and even throwing in a free Blu-ray copy after it's released November 24. We'll have to wait and see if the Hancock At-Home Premiere is a one of a kind promotion (note: the stream is "valued" at $29.99) or a regular benefit to owning a BRAVIA and accompanying $299 add-on, but we can't help thinking this would be alot more interesting if it were offered over the PlayStation Network.[Via Sony]

Remember that Sony Internet Video Link for Bravia TVs that we told you about way back in February of 2007? Well apparently the $299.99 units have hit stores, and are now available for your purchasing pleasure. If you'll recall, the pricey boxes allow you to stream internet video, music, and light content (like weather and traffic) into your television via the company's familiar Xross Media Bar interface. Of course, you'll be dropping a pretty big chunk of change on something with fairly limited use, but hey... it's your money.[Via Zatz Not Funny!]
