Mitsubishi's 17 and 19-inch monitors
We must have missed the memo, but this is clearly the month for 17 and 19-inch LCDs. Here's Mitsubishi's contribution to the game -- the 17-inch RDT1714VM and 19-inch RDT191VM monitors wrapped up under the obnoxiously named "Diamondcrysta" lineup. Both panels offer a 1280x1024 resolution, 5-ms response, 800:1 contrast, 280cd/m2 brightness, and 160-degree visibility with 1x DVI-D and 1x DSub15 inputs. On sale now in Japan at about ¥42,800 (about $364) for the 19-incher or ¥32,800 (about $279) for that 17-inch, near-square slab.
