Like no one saw this coming? Nintendo just sent out a small press release tooting their own horns, as it were. In two days time, the DS Lite has managed to sell over 136,500 units, which outstrips the sales of the GBA SP unit by around 12%. Considering how well that unit did (it essentially outsold the PS2 every month in its existence before the DS came along), this is a good sign for Nintendo. In other horn-tooting news from Nintendo, New Super Mario Bros. sales have doubled over the previous week, bringing it to something like one copy sold per every four seconds since its release. Brain Age also continues its Katamari-like roll, getting bigger by the day, sales having tripled in the last week alone. Cheers to you, Nintendo.(Fruit Loops make for a wonderful confetti, don't you think?)
