Ruliweb got the sweet hookup with some exclusive footage of the PSP version of PaRappa the Rapper. The PSP camera, with Chotto Shot, is now available in Japan, and for import buyers. PSP GadgetZ has some really great pictures of the camera, packaging, and more importantly, pictures taken with the peripheral. According to a translation by PSP-Vault, "He says that the diagonal lines are pretty bad, and that at low light levels, there is a lot of noise in the images. He's also a bit annoyed that you need to remove the camera to transfer data to your PC." The image quality is apparently not too great, but I guess that's expected from a device that costs $50, and not hundreds.Read on to read more about the PSP's new camera accessory.

  • Sears Xbox 360 commercial has underage kid loving M-rated games

A new Sears commercial for the Xbox 360 has a young boy named Connor telling us what he discovered at Sears. Connor hit the mother lode, because he found a 360, Need for Speed, FIFA, and ... Halo and Halo 2. He dreamily looks off-screen as he fondly remembers fragging someone on the Sanctuary, and telling them they just got pwned.Apparently Connor, his parents, and Sears all laugh in the face of the Entertainment Software Rating Board, because these two games are both rated M. While we don't always agree with the ESRB, we do find it a bit odd that Sears, a major national retailer, didn't do at least 30 seconds worth of research (which we in the business call "looking at the back of the case the game comes in") and realize that Connor is a bit too young to wax nostalgic about Halo in this nationwide spot.Check out the video after the jump, and someone let Connor know he'll be able to get Gears of War for that 360, as long as he buys it at Sears.[Thanks, otakucode]

  • Mercora launches "M" music service for Windows Mobile

Mercora has joined the burgeoning mobile music fray in what looks to be a fairly big way today, launching its minimally-named "M" service for Windows Mobile 5.0-based devices. Unlike other mobile music services, which'll sell you songs or streaming radio, M gives you over-the-air access to your existing music library stored on your PC, in addition to access to a slew of radio stations. And, in a move sure to please the geekier among us, Mercora has chosen to use an optimized version of Ogg/Vorbis to deliver high-quality audio while keeping bandwidth usage in check. All this comes at a cost, of course, with the introductory price starting at $4.99/month, and subscription packages coming in at $29.99 for six months, $49.99 for one year, and $99.99 for two-years (you'll also probably want an unlimited data plan with your carrier unless you want a big surprise on your next bill). While not part of the initial launch, Mercora says it'll soon roll out a social network component to the service, which'll let you browse and listen to the music collections of up to five friends or family members. If you're curious, you can get in on a free preview right now (minus the music sharing), just don't get carried away with the data usage if you aren't prepared to foot the bill.[Via jkOnTheRun]
