KFC-flavored nail polish gives new meaning to 'chicken fingers'
KFC is taking its "finger lickin' good" slogan a bit too far. The fried chicken fast food chain made two "edible" fingernail polishes for its fans in Hong Kong. Teaming up with ad agency Ogilvy & Mather and food experts at McCormick, two shades were created that incorporate the restaurant's top secret blend of 11 herbs and spices: Original Recipe and Hot & Spicy.

An experimental nail polish line called Undercover Colors can do more than color your nails to match those shoes: it can tell if your drink's been spiked by a dubious date. Just pretend to stir the drink with your finger, and the polish will change color the moment it detects GHB, Rohypnol or Xanax (aka date rape drugs or roofies) in the liquid. Pretty cool, right? And certainly useful, seeing as 1.) date rape drugs are typically odorless and tasteless, and 2.) a recent Washington Post report has revealed that sexual assault cases on college campuses continue to grow from year to year.
Dell puts OPI nail polish on laptops, hits a 'home run' with MLB lids, robs us of all creativity
Oh, Dell. The laptop maker piqued everyone's interest for 30 seconds this morning with a glimpse of the upcoming Adamo XPS, but when push comes to shove all it has to sell anyone is some laptops with lipstick on them. Seriously. The company is partnered up with "renowned nail lacquer experts" OPI (which has a storied history in predicting fashionable colors for upcoming seasons, according to those in the know), and that means there'll be 26 new colors and patterns in the Dell Design Studio for you to pick from the next time you buy one of Dell's various adequate laptops. Colors will include 20 "classics" like "I'm Not Really a Waitress" (pictured), as well as some seasonal shades like "Dear Santa," "Merry Midnight" and "Smitten with Mitten." They will not include specs or info on the Adamo XPS. Update: Dell also showed off MLB designs for all 30 teams, with "fan," "classic," and "die-hard" designs for each, which will be available on Dell Design Studio, along with an updated selection of Artist and Product (RED) lids. The Colosseum: Two Fighters, One Column
Sometimes, during the summer, it can be especially difficult to find time to enjoy the game. Arena fighters are no different, which is why the following two interviews are a little shorter. We were only able to grab a little bit of their time, but we wanted to get their unique perspective on some aspects of the Arena.Soballinlol is a Warrior on the Mug'thol server, who is 3rd rated in the Vengeance battlegroup on his 2v2 team. Even more spectacularly, Soballinlol's 5v5 team has achieved the number one place on the battlegroup. Nailpolish is also on the Mug'thol server, but is in the 7th ranked 2v2 team on her battlegroup, and the 8th ranked 3v3 team.Both come from wildly different perspectives. Nailpolish operates in a 3v3 RMP team, who uses precise Crowd Control to dominate their opponents. By comparison, Soballinlol is a Warrior, a class that's reknowned for its juggernaut-like ability to smash through defenses, use unparalleled survivability, and still offer incredibly effective offense. Samsung SGH-G600 Belle comes in burgundy, includes matching nail polish
Oh wow, what a way to accessorize, a lovely burgundy handset complete with matching nail polish, way to go Samsung. The G600 isn't a new brand handset, we saw it some months ago in both the FCC archives and via the Anycall G608 version. A quick jaunt through the specs shows quad-band GPRS / EDGE, a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and image stabilization, 7 hour talk time and about 15 days of stand by, and did we mention it now includes nail polish? No word on what it'll set you back or who plans on carrying it, but guys, no need to shy away, there are likely plenty of things you can use that paint for apart from polishing up your piggies.
