    Nintendo's long-lost Flash games are returning to the web

    A Nintendo enthusiast is busy rescuing the company's treasure trove of Flash games. The titles, which served as promotional tie-ins for releases like Donkey Kong 64, Metroid Prime, and Mario Kart: Double Dash, have long been missing from the internet. But, thanks to the efforts of a modder known as Skelux they're making a comeback. You can sample a selection of the games, dating from 1999 to 2010, on his website (as spotted by Motherboard).

    It's been well over a year since Shigeru Miyamoto teased us with the possibility of a Pikmin 4, and during today's Nintendo Direct stream, the company announced... something else. The company closed out its 2017 line-up with a new, unnamed Pikmin adventure for 3DS. Okay, it's not the full sequel we were hoping for, but it looks pretty darn cute.

    We understand that next-gen games are a really big deal, but those upstairs in the big companies already realize that we are willing to pay money for those games lost or forgotten. Nintendo has a huge gaming history under its belt and they are bringing back the childhood glee with the Virtual Console. A whopping 30 titles will be available by December.
