A little under two years after its five-season run ended on BBC America, Orphan Black is returning with a bang, and probably loads more sound effects. Fiction publishing startup Serial Box is reviving the beloved sci-fi show this summer as a ten-episode audiobook series, with star Tatiana Maslany returning to her Emmy-winning role(s).

How many times have you wished for a third hand while trying to carry too many things? Well, you can't have that yet because it's not a thing (at least not an available thing), but maybe you can get yourself another thumb, which is almost as good. Dani Clode, a graduate student at the Royal College of Art in London, created The Third Thumb, a 3D-printed prosthetic that straps onto your hand.

This week the NHL and NBA Finals continue (and, in at least one case could come to an end), but that's not the only thing on TV. Netflix is ready to officially release season five of Orange is the New Black, BBC America is beginning the final season of Orphan Black and Syfy has a new season Dark Matter. Ex Machina is back with an Ultra HD Blu-ray release, while gamers can check out the latest episode of Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy series, a new WipEout release on PS4, and DiRT 4. Look after the break to check out each day's highlights, including trailers and let us know what you think (or what we missed).

The USA series Mr. Robot has more than just surprisingly realistic hacking scenes, as it now can claim an Emmy win. Series star Rami Malek snagged the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series award tonight, beating out Kevin Spacey, Bob Odenkirk and others. After double checking to make sure we were all seeing this too (good call), Malek said he wanted to "honor the Elliots...because there's a little bit of Elliot in all of us." The show's season finale airs Wednesday night, and if the breakdown of its hacking scenes hasn't turned you into a fan yet, take a look at our interviews with show creator Sam Esmail.

As we sit in the no man's land between holidays, let us take a moment to quietly contemplate what the actual eff is going on with the eye in this new Orphan Black teaser trailer. Will the Clone Club face some decidedly augmented foes? Is it a metaphor for a heightened sense of paranoia and distrust? Do the folks from Topside — who rose to some prominence this past season — have anything to do with it?

Orphan Black may have been snubbed by the Emmys, but fans can grab season two for themselves this week as it arrives on Blu-ray. Another disc release we're looking forward to is season on of Adult Swim's Black Dynamite animated series that's arriving ahead of its return to television with season two, due in October. While everyone tries to shrug off a post-World Cup hangover, baseball is serving up the Home Run Derby and All-Star Game this week, while NBA Summer League action is on NBA TV. We're still trying to figure out some of the new summer TV series like The Leftovers, The Strain, Extant and Tyrant, but there are a few more new shows incoming (as 24: Live Another Day makes its exit -- Fox hasn't yet announced if it will run another miniseries in the future). FX is premiering Married and You're The Worst this week, Hulu will stream The Hotwives of Orlando, USA has Rush and Satisfaction, PBS tosses in Sex in the Wild and CW brings Seed. Have any of the new shows made it into your DVR queue? Check after the break for a list of what's new this week plus a few trailers, and drop a note in the comments if you see any highlights we've missed.

  • Amazon Prime Instant Video adds Orphan Black as a streaming exclusive

The latest TV show to become a streaming-exclusive on Amazon Prime's video service is the sci-fi series Orphan Black. Like Amazon's recent deal to pick up streaming rights for FX's The Americans, this agreement with BBC America comes just ahead of the show's return for season two. While Amazon attempts to build up its stable of original series (voting on the current pilot season ends soon), collaborating with broadcasters for a financial and exposure push of returning series seems like a worthwhile strategy. Other shows that viewers won't find on Amazon's competitors include Suits, Falling Skies, Downton Abbey, Justified, Workaholics, and Under the Dome, while this summer CBS' Extant joins the pack. Of course, Netflix has an original sci-fi show of its own, Sense8, on the way later this year from the folks behind The Matrix and Babylon 5. Right now though, US viewers can either recap or become introduced to Tatiana Maslany's Clone Club before the season two premiere April 19th.
