Developer Team Ninja's comeback story Nioh will make its way from PlayStation 4 to PC next month. It'll take the form of Nioh: The Complete Edition and feature the punishing game's trio of add-on packs, a "stable" 60FPS frame rate, or, what Tecmo calls "Movie Mode." That (probably) doesn't drop the frame rate to 24 frames per-second and add letterbox bars, but it does bump the resolution as high as 4K. As a nod to where the digital-only game almost positively will appear, it also features a special helmet with a valve-like design. So, Steam sounds like a likely place to find the game when it's released on November 7th.

In an age where developers seemingly bend over backwards to accommodate fan requests (cough, the Mass Effect 3 ending, cough), Team Ninja decided to buck that for its latest game, Nioh. That's not to say that the developer didn't take feedback to heart for its samurai action title, just not all of it according to a post on the PlayStation Blog.

If you've been yearning for a Fire Emblem game to play on the go that isn't relegated to a portable gaming system, maybe the upcoming Fire Emblem Heroes will do the trick. It's a tactical role-playing game (think Final Fantasy Tactics) where "fate has brought two warring kingdoms together in a bitter clash." Naturally. During today's Fire Emblem Direct stream, it was announced that you'll battle it out on an 8x6 grid.

  • Tecmo Koei CEO to Sony: "please cut the price" of the PS3

Activision's CEO has already gone public with his complaints about the price of the PS3, and it looks he's not alone among industry bigwigs with a bone to pick with Sony, with the CEO of the newly formed Tecmo Koei now coming out and echoing his concerns. Speaking with CVG, Tecmo Koei's Kenji Matsubara says that whenever he speaks about the issue with Sony reps, he asks them to "please cut the price" of the PS3, adding that "from a publisher's point of view we would welcome a price cut for PS3 and we are waiting, definitely." He doesn't quite go so far as pull an Activision and threaten to ditch support for the console if Sony doesn't drop the price, however, although it seems safe to assume that these complains will only grow louder -- at least until Sony actually does cut the price of the PS3, that is.
