World of WarCrafts spotlights art and creativity by WoW players, including fan art, cooking, comics, cosplay, music, fan fiction and more. Sample the whole spectrum on WoW.com's Arts and Crafts in WoW page. Artist Christina Marie's WoW-themed work is nothing if not saturated -- saturated with color, saturated with game references, saturated with humor. It's the kind of stuff you can toss onto your desktop and then promptly lose vast chunks of time peering and snorting in bemused delight at the details scattered across these works. (Because I whipped up the Christina Marie art gallery, below, in just minutes. Without any linking or idle chatter in the WoW.com newsroom. You believe that, right? Right?) Her talent for twisting elements together (elements of art, elements of the game ... you name it) earned her a nod from Blizzard itself with inclusion in its 2011 holiday fan art calendar (as was our own Kelly Aarons). World of WarCrafts visited with Christina Marie to find out where the deluge of color and inspiration comes from. %Gallery-100713%

In what every Blizzard fanboy hopes to be a precursor to the real thing, the company has announced the winners of the Blizzard Theme Park Contest where creators were called to submit their best ideas for a theme park based on each of Blizzard's properties or even all of them. The grand prize winner, Christina Marie DeLong, designed a brightly colored map that had the most amazing stuff in it.It featured attractions such as a Terran combat simulator, a Diablo-themed petting zoo (yikes!), and a roller coaster based on Captain Skyshatter's race around Netherwing Ledge. While that's all pretty cool, it's the little details that must've won the judges over -- like the Mage's refreshment table on top of a Dalaran-style building intended to be the park's buffet. There are just a lot of small things that should make all of us go to Blizzard and pester them about making it all real. There were three other winners who won for the best StarCraft, Warcraft, and Diablo-themed entries, although they all seemed to incorporate all of Blizzard's properties. All of them were pretty good, but Christina's excellently drawn and conceptualized entry was hands down the best of the lot. You can check out all the entries including the honorable mentions over at Blizzard's theme park contest site. The winning works will be displayed in this year's BlizzCon. Given that Blizzard always has a few surprises in store for us each year, who's keeping their fingers crossed for a real-life Blizzard theme park?

Don't miss out on your chance to cook up the zaniest, most Blizzard-worthy idea of a theme park -- the deadline for submissions to Blizzard's Theme Park Contest is on March 30. Blizzard called on fanboys everywhere to submit their ideas for a theme park based on their properties, Diablo, StarCraft, and Warcraft, and anything from theme park maps to ride schematics to landscape pictures of the park are welcome. Selected entries will be shown during BlizzCon 2009.The best entry incorporating all three properties will receive a Wacom Cintiq 12WX, along with the Echoes of War soundtrack and a pair of StarCraft II Beta keys. Three other winners with the best Diablo, StarCraft, or Warcraft themes will win Echoes of War and two StarCraft II Beta keys each. With just under five days to go, designer hopefuls should submit their designs soon! You never know, Blizzard just might make that theme park happen...
