Twinbird sure loves its little waterproof displays -- and you might too, if you spend a lot of time watching TV perilously close to water (that is, in the tub or doing dishes). Like its successors, the latest Link Zabady refresh comes with a 7-inch display, base station (with multiple A/V and S-video inputs), and remote. The device also boasts a new and improved waterproof body and an SD card reader for up to 16GB storage on the unit itself. MSRP is open, although Akihabara thinks you'll spend about ¥60,000 ($700) on one of these bad boys. Now, say "Twinbird Link Zabady" out loud five times fast.

It looks like the folks at Twinbird have yet another option for those that like to keep all their gadgets waterproof, with it now rolling out the latest entry in its Zabady line: a luggable CD/MP3 player. Unlike wimpy "weather-resistant" players, however, this one seems to be the real deal, with it apparently able to be submerged in 39 inches of water for a full half-hour before it needs to come up for air. You'll need to supply your own USB drive to play MP3 or WMA files, however, or you'll otherwise have to make do with the built-in FM radio and aforementioned CD player. No word on a release just yet, but it'll apparently only be available in Japan initially, where it'll set you back ¥21,000 (or about $190).[Via Physorg]

Twinbird's no stranger to the land of waterproof gizmos, and the company's latest device to shed water with grace is the SD ZABADY. This digital audio player comes in black or silver color schemes, houses 128MB of internal storage capacity, handles SD cards up to 2GB in size, and plays nice with both MP3 and WMA formats. Additionally, it sports an external LCD, built-in speakers, USB 2.0 connectivity, and a reported playback time of around 18-hours. The best part, however, is its ability to hold out water from seeping in whilst submerged in up to one meter of liquid for a half hour, meaning that it's the perfect shower singing companion if you're not up to purchasing in-tub speakers for your bathroom. Look for the SD ZABADY to hit Japanese streets later this week for ¥15,000 ($123), and click on through for a few more snaps.[Via AkihabaraNews]

Twinbird is tightening their grip on the nascent waterproof media device market with this, their Link Zabady video streaming solution. Plug the included black-box transmitter into your television or DVD player via S-Video or composite connections and stream the A/V out to that splash-proof, 7-inch LCD with 480x234 resolution. The kit features a remote control and charging dock for the LCD allowing for about 2.5-hours of untethered playback while scrubbing your tomato or perhaps even polishing your apple. Good times if you don't mind watching your vids on that highly reflective screen covered in droplets as pictured above. Expected on December 1 in Japan for ¥70,000 or about $591. [Via Impress]
