After Super Mario Run and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, the next Nintendo game to get a mobile version is Mario Kart. Following up on the company's plan to release 2-3 games per year (there's a Zelda game in development too) Mario Kart Tour is scheduled to arrive at some point before March 2019. Other than the title and vague release window we don't know much about the game yet. It will probably ship after the launch of Nintendo Switch Online, and, given the lack of detail around Nintendo's Mario movie, well ahead of the animated feature announced tonight.

Collect fruit, trade it with villagers, build furniture, rinse, repeat. That's been the experience with Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp thus far, and if it's getting tedious, know that there's an update coming soon that'll add some variety to the mix. Next month, you'll be able to start crafting clothes like shirts, pants and shoes. Players will also gain access to a garden. As you might expect, the garden is where you can plant flowers, and you can even water friends' flower beds for them.

The title marks Nintendo's third foray into smartphone gaming, following Super Mario Run and Fire Emblem Heroes.

Nintendo has announced a new Animal Crossing game, but unlike New Leaf and Happy Home Designer, it's not landing on the 3DS. This time, the game is making its way to your iPhones and Android devices as a free-to-play title in late November. In Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, you build your own camp from scratch instead of developing a town. Despite the change in setting, the elements the beloved franchise is known for are still there: Isabelle will still guide you in your journey, along with the animals that move into your camp.

Nintendo is ready to spill the beans about its upcoming Animal Crossing mobile game. On Wednesday at 11 PM Eastern / 8 PM Pacific, the company will hold one of its trademark Direct events where it'll spend 15 minutes talking about the upcoming life-sim and nothing else. Last time Nintendo mentioned the game, it was to announce a delay. In January, Nintendo said that the planned mobile incarnation would arrive sometime between this April and next March. Now we have two days to speculate exactly when Tom Nook will start negging us about our house's feng shui. Update (10/23): Well, it's Wednesday in Japan, and now Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp has been officially announced. It's coming to iOS and Android in late November, but you can get all the details right here.
