"I started playing WoW at the end of vanilla, when Burning Crusade was three months from arriving," writes submitter Gimmlette of Spectacular Death on Llane (US-A). "It was a while before I got to experience Molten Core, and when I did, my guild and I didn't need 40 people with specifically assigned roles. There are still memories, though, of getting punted by Baron Geddon and needing to get people high enough rep to have Aqua Quintessence to put out the runes. (I worked hard to get mine. It's something I still have and won't ever delete.) I caught this shot of all the sparkles around Garr as the LFR group we were in worked to contain the adds and down both them and him. For all the complaints about running this in LFR mode, it's been a fun walk down memory lane." Want to see your own screenshot here? Send it to aroundazeroth@wowinsider.com. "So after finally recruiting Fargo Flintlocke to my garrison, I've taken to having him patrol with me as I run around doing all the daily duties that a good commander does -- y'know, try to influence him by example, that sort of thing," writes submitter Arugadh of The Brotherhood of Iron on Wyrmrest Accord (US-A). "But yesterday, he wasn't out in the open hanging around the Pleasure-bot as he usually is. I found him in the Inn, sitting at a feast-loaded table with one of the lumberjacks and Admiral Taylor. Admiral Taylor looked decidedly miffed at being there. Which leads me to wonder if Flintlocke was at Taylor's Garrison before it got run over ... and what the true circumstances of Taylor's demise are. Knowing Dave Fargo, there's a story there that'll be the source of a hysterical cutscene at some point as yet unrevealed." Want to see your own screenshot here? "In scenic Elodor, before the Altar of Sha'tar, both neutral groups and Alliance organizations convene to plan the downfall of the Iron Horde and the safekeeping of Draenor," writes submitter Ironholde of The Dwarven Vanguard on Moon Guard (US–A). "Ironically, few draenei seemed interested in participating. No wonder they were obliterated in our timeline." Want to see your own screenshot here? Send it to aroundazeroth@wowinsider.com. "While I may not be a young tater tot of a gnome anymore, I still like visiting Greatfather Winter," writes submitter Perki of Spectacular Death on Llane (US-A). "Especially for an old timey-wimey photo op!" Greatfather Winter has the same look on his face that mall Santas do when they have stoned teenagers trying to sit in their laps. Maybe the energy spikes from the legendary cape are hurting him? Want to see your own screenshot here? Send it to aroundazeroth@wowinsider.com. "These socks are so cool!" exclaimed guildmistress Gimmlette of Spectacular Death on Llane (US-A), upon receiving her present from Greatfather Winter. "We need a guild photo with our socks. Meet me in Ironforge by the tree in the Explorer's Hall. Wear your sweater and your socks." Five minutes later, Gimmlette deeply regretted not including pants in that order. But they went ahead and entertained bystanders anyway. Want to see your own screenshot here? Send it to aroundazeroth@wowinsider.com. How did this happen? What the heck did the miners do to my level 3 mine? This is not what was in the blueprint!" Sneaky little thieves, those miners. It''s those damn Molly Maguires again! Submitter Aibelle of BloodOath on Ravencrest (US-A) noticed that her Pepe was getting lonely in her garrison. Also, she was becoming a little tired of constantly cleaning bird mess out of her hairdo. So she was rather pleased when she built her new stables and noticed Sky'reen had taken up residence. Now Pepe has another avian friend, and Aibelle can explore coiffure options beyond "basic night elf ponytail." Want to see your own screenshot here? Send it to aroundazeroth@wowinsider.com. "Why, humans can safely sit on top of a circular saw with no ill effects! Trees, on the other hand ..." "Being a rogue in need of a main hand upgrade has been my motivation. No luck yet. However I did get a Scroll of Storytelling and thought I would try to take a old-timey photo of Orgrimmar. Today's submitter writes, "Professor Excaliblur from Magtheridon (EU-A) loves to mess with arcane forces -- shape shifting, matter entanglement and such -- and often lets the brainstorming blow his mind. Some call him insane. He says he's an artist. So why not make a time-frozen dragon do a very odd limbo dance move trying to eat a wreath ribbon? He quickly found a suitable dragon by rummaging through the portal space. (Unbelievable what stuff mages are dumping there.)" Want to see your own screenshot here? "Because you can find garrison resources most anywhere, I spend a lot of time poking around in all the buildings," writes submitter Gimmlette of Spectacular Death on Llane (US-A). "(Yes, I know about the maps you can get, but that kind of takes the fun out of 'Oooh. What's in here?') I was questing in Pinchwhistle Point and ran up into the main building. To quote George Takei, 'Oh myyyy.' Complete with door beads, I'm not sure if this is an homage to the 1960s or just bad taste. It does need the addition of a lava lamp and mirror tile to be complete, but this makes me thankful for dwarven decorating tastes." Want to see your own screenshot here? "However, the toy doesn't exactly play nice in the litter box with the other toys, as I found out when I used it while having my Blazing Wings activated. So now I've got fire shooting out from my head and giving me a severe case of heartburn. Which is normal for a dwarf paladin, I admit, but not like this!" Want to see your own screenshot here? Or a moon on the man, because it looks like submitter Thundarius of Nagrand (US-A) is about to be crushed by the Pale Lady. "I have seen the moon in Shadowmoon many times (editor's note: thus the name, I assume), but I could not explain what was happening here. I had to sit and think for a while. Is it an eclipse? Is is some sort of lunar event? Will we ever set foot on the moon? What lives on the moon? What sort of loot do they drop?" Submitter Shikí of Sojourner on Kargath (US-A) was on hand to document the final destruction of the Warlords of Draenor beta servers earlier this week. While she was on the server that was crashing constantly, she managed to snap a few good pictures. "Stormwind was very full of people on their shiniest mounts," she writes. Since it's Halloween, I tried to come up with the scariest screenshot I could find. And then I stumbled across this gem from Mayliffe on Argent Dawn (EU-A), who combined Belbi's beer goggles with the Gnomish X-Ray Specs to create a world where everyone is a naked male gnome. AAAHHH! I'm terrified! But really, I hope you all have a spectacularly spooky night. As for me, I'll be working ... on Halloween ... on a Friday night ... when we're down three ambulances on the schedule. While everyone was distracted by fighting the Iron Horde, submitter Planck of Planet Express Crew on Shu'Halo (US-A) decided the time was right for a unilateral invasion of Stormwind. Of course, it didn't hurt that the 6.0.2 patch had temporarily removed all NPCs from Eastern Kingdoms on his server. Planck bravely fought his way through nothing to make it to Varian Wrynn's throne, where he donned some shades and chilled with the gold lions until the NPCs presumably respawned and instantly slaughtered him.
