Pixar's next movie 'Soul' is heading straight to Disney+ on Christmas
With COVID-19 numbers rising in many areas, movie theaters are still not easy for families to visit. As a result, Disney is changing plans on another movie release, and will premiere Pixar’s Soul on Disney+ December 25th.

Disney+ will start streaming 'Artemis Fowl' on June 12th
Disney’s Artemis Fowl will be available for viewing exclusively through the company’s streaming platform starting on June 12th. The entertainment giant surprised fans in early April when it announced that the much-awaited adaptation of Eoin Colfer’s series will no longer be shown in theaters. Artemis Fowl was supposed to be shown in cinemas back in August 2019, but its release was pushed back to May 29th this year.
'Artemis Fowl' will debut on Disney+
Disney has adjusted the theatrical release dates for its biggest upcoming movies this year due to the coronavirus outbreak, except for Artemis Fowl. Instead of pushing back its opening date from May 29th to a later one, the entertainment giant won't be showing it in theaters altogether: The young adult fantasy film about a 12-year-old criminal mastermind will be heading straight to Disney+.
