We've been hearing about DC Universe Online's Last Laugh DLC pack for a while now. Fortunately for fans of diabolical supervillains everywhere, launch day is finally here. The pack represents the largest PvP content update since DCUO's release, and it also puts the Joker on center stage as the key figure in a "criminally twisted new storyline." If that's not enough to whet your whistle, Last Laugh also features new shield powers, safe house battles, headquarters battles, and legends characters including Power Girl, Ursa, Bizarro, and various Lantern and Sinestro notables. Last Laugh is free for legendary players or $9.99 for free and premium members. You can download it via the PlayStation Network or the in-game marketplace. [Source: SOE press release]

  • DC Universe Online takes us to Bizarro World

Sony Online Entertainment revealed a brand new addition to DC Universe Online Friday: Bizarro. Even if you're not already familiar with the character, you can pretty much assume that anything with a name like that is going to be probably evil and definitely awesome. So who is this guy? DCUO provides a brief backstory for anyone living in a cave, and for the sake of moving on and getting to the good part, we'll go with that: "In hopes of having a Superman of his very own, Lex Luthor called upon his top scientist Dr. Teng to scan and replicate the hero's genetic structure. Due to complications in the construction of the carbon copy, their results gave birth to a monstrous menace, Bizarro." Bizarro's the polar opposite of Superman. Where Superman has heat vision and freeze breath, Bizarro has freeze vision and flame breath. Best of all (or worst of all, depending on your outlook) Kryptonite gives Bizarro strength. Following this train of logic, it seems like Bizarro would also be really slow, but that's no fun. %Gallery-76480%

  • Palm Foleo unboxed, AT&T-branded Centro spotted?

Welcome to Engadget: Bizarro Edition. Look, truth be told, now that the Foleo has been wiped from a foreseeable Palm future, we kind of wish we could get our hands on one (rare gadget collectors that we are). Well, at least one lucky, lucky gentleman has done just that, and he's been kind enough to share the pictures with the rest of the world. We're not sure how an individual goes about procuring this device, but we can honestly say we're pretty jealous. It's essentially like having an embalmed unicorn in your living room. But that's not all, kids. Take a long, hard look at that Centro in the photos (which is referred to as the Treo 500P) -- it's got AT&T branding all over that home screen. Is your curiosity piqued? Join the club. Take a look at the little curiosity after the break.

  • Superman Returns looking bizarre

In a move seemingly inspired by Ultimate Spiderman's villainous gameplay, EA is including the famed super-clone Bizzaro as a playable character in Superman Returns. Bizarro Jerry is surely pleased. Of course, the mere hint that a Supes game doesn't suck is the clearest indication yet that we're all living in an alternate universe.[Via VideoGameJocks]
