CES: part tech fest, part carnival, and all fun. Sadly we couldn't bring you everything we saw in the booths as they're so full and have become so immense that we'd need the entire week to take it all in; we did, however, drop by a few of the showier booths and take a handful of pics of each for your ocular entertainment. So without further ado, hop past the break and see what the likes of Samsung, Microsoft, Intel, Sharp, Panasonic, and more had to offer at CES 2011.

Kodak wasn't showing off too much new product at this year's show -- or if it was, none of the gear was stuff we follow -- but can you really get a good feel for a trade show without touring the booth of the company whose name is synonymous with photography? Of course not, which is why we gathered together a gallery which pretty well represents everything you'd see had you been here yourself. Isn't that great? We trudge out to Las Vegas so you don't have to.%Gallery-15096%

Sanyo had a bit of a twist this year at CES -- it was making a push for the environment. In between displays of HD camcorders and wireless projectors were numerous low consumption devices and solar powered chargers. Keep reading to see what you may have missed among the plethora of products that were on display this year.

We've been combing the extensive Macworld Expo 2007 floor since Tuesday and have posted some more booth tour galleries for your viewing enjoyment. Almost everyone has a presence here of some sort (sadly, almost), so we're doing our best to hit as may of the booths we can. As of this post, we have a couple handfuls of booths up, including Belkin, Crumpler, iSkin, Marware and plenty more, with even more on the way. If you couldn't make it to Macworld, these booth tours and video coverage are your next best chance.

It isn't quite so much a 'booth tour' as it is 'the biggest darn thing on the floor, bar none.' Apple is seriously pimping their two major forays into consumer electronics, and their gargantuan floor signage, two massive demonstration stages and rotating glass iPhone cases all but scream it out loud. Mac OS X Leopard, at least what we've already seen, is also on stage in between Apple TV and iPhone demos, and surrounding their staging area are long kiosk areas with consumer and pro level products and software laid out for exhibitors to play with if the Apple Store down the street is too busy.Check out our gallery of Apple 'booth' shots, and stay tuned for more booth tours both big and small.

You didn't really think that just because the Computex trade show is going on halfway around the world, we wouldn't send a crack team of reporters to cover the event, did you? While our US staff neglected to renew their passports in time for their flights, the folks over at Engadget Chinese (traditional or simplified, your choice) were just a hop, skip, and jump away from Taipei, Taiwan, so they've graciously stepped up to the plate and provided the coverage necessary to make us feel that we're right in the thick of it. They've already posted a number of booth tours of your favorite companies, like Intel (who've apparently rented out an absolutely mind-boggling swath of hall), Sandisk, Toshiba, and, um, A Data, with the latter company's tour proving that our Asian colleagues have the same unhealthy obsession with cartoon-inspired gadgets as we do. Don't worry, we'll keep you apprised of the highlights from this year's show, but for the full in-your-face Computex experience, chinese.engadget.com is the place to be.Read - IntelRead - SandiskRead - ToshibaRead - A Data

The part of Vivendi's booth dedicated to Blizzard and World of Warcraft has constant crowds and lines waiting to try the game. The upcoming Burning Crusade expansion is eagerly awaited by many of the game's six million players, and the booth focuses on the game rather than glitz, with no swag or booth babes. We'll let the pictures do the talking:

Ubisoft has a pretty significant presence in the South Hall, showcasing upcoming titles like Assassin's Creed, Red Steel, Rayman 4, and Rainbow Six: Vegas. Of course, as one of the largest publishers in the world, we wouldn't expect any less. Sprinkled in with the French accents that always manage to sound so elegant, were hard pitches from actors pushing Ubisoft's flagship franchises. Continue for more photos.

In clearing out the remainder of my GDC photographs, I've assembled this tour of Sony's relatively massive PlayStation booth. Compared to many of the other booths in the San Jose Convention Center, Sony's white PlayStation station was impressive; owing more to style than outright scale (which wasn't much larger than Nintendo's). While impressive, the booths at GDC are lilliputian compared to the marketing monsters at E3. Read on for the shots ...
