Rock Band DLC kicks off November with a second pack from Breaking Benjamin, featuring tracks off albums We Are Not Alone and Phobia. There is also the single "Forever" from Papa Roach, recorded in what is allegedly a haunted mansion. Spooky.

In honor of the Rock Band Facebook page topping 2 million "Likes," Harmonix decided to let news loose a bit early about some varied, excellent artists arriving on Rock Band 3's DLC service in the "coming weeks and months." We're actually inclined to skip right over two of the groups -- Breaking Benjamin and Dream Theater -- as they've both already had DLC tracks added to RB3 in the past. Here are the two brand new biggies: Stevie Wonder and Coldplay. We simply cannot say "Hooray!" loudly enough. No mention is made of which songs specifically will be launched, but Coldplay, Breaking Benjamin, and Stevie Wonder all have full track packs on the way, while Dream Theater's keeping it more low key with a single. Perhaps if you go "like" the Facebook page we can get Stevie Wonder right now? Maybe just one track, even? [Thanks, libregkd]

"Hello, Apple Customer Support, this is Janice speaking. How may I help you?" "Does my iPhone replacement plan cover ... um, if I accidentally jammed my thumbs through my screen?" "If you jam your -- sir, I have to ask ... were you attempting to play 'My Name is Jonas' on Expert on the Guitar Hero App?" "How on Earth did you know?" "Sir, you're the twentieth person to call with that issue today. Oh, and the answer to your question is of course not." Click past the jump to see all the tracks from Breaking Benjamin, Coldplay, Rise Against and Weezer which were recently added to the Music Store on Guitar Hero for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Also, be gentle with those thumbs, okay?

Activision has announced an Xbox Live Game with Fame event almost guaranteed to be less awkward than watching a movie with Rob Zombie. Starting tomorrow, February 20 at 1:00pm ET, Xbox Live Gold members will get the opportunity to play Guitar Hero 5 with Breaking Benjamin. Anyone wanting to participate should send a friend request to BBGWF or BBAaronGWF thirty minutes prior to the event. Also, it's worth mentioning that the Breaking Benjamin tracks on Guitar Hero 5 are only available as DLC, so it's possible you could play with the band without owning any of their music. Talk about embarrassment!

Things took a step towards the alternative in last month's Guitar Hero 5 and Band Hero DLC offerings, but it seems February will see the games' downloadable music get back on the path of straight-up rock. We'll be seeing new (old) jams from 30 Seconds to Mars, Breaking Benjamin, Third-Eye Blind and Black Sabbath. We personally can't wait to see Taylor Swift cover Ozzy's part on "Sweet Leaf." All track packs will be available for $5.49 on PS3, 550 Wii Points or 440 on Xbox 360. In addition, all songs will be available seperately for $1.99, 200 Wii Points or 160. Head past the break for the complete list of February's downloadable songs.

Alice in Chains and Breaking Benjamin (pictured doing their best Twilight pose) contribute several new tracks to the Rock Band Music Store next week. We ... sorry, we're just getting lost in those eyes and pale skin. It's mesmerizing. There are also some additions from English psychedelic band, Kula Shaker, and a value-priced track called "U Suck" by Just Kait -- which, knowing how the comments for RBW tend to lean, could very well be how many of you feel about the artist. Check out the full Rock Band Weekly update, along with the update for Rock Band Unplugged, after the break. Select a platform below to view complete DLC listing:
