Players prove time and time again that WoW is an outlet for creativity in addition to being a game we all love. We have a number of columns here on WoW Insider that put that on display each and every week, and we get a number of submissions from readers that reinforce it.Reader Sashimikitty, member of Crypt Friends, has sent us a couple of pictures of a neat little craft she made as a gift. The Bulwark of Azzinoth is, in my opinion, the absolute coolest looking shield in the game, and the Crypt Friends main tank is now quite prepared if Illidan happens to knock on his door IRL. Assuming, of course, Shield Block isn't on cooldown for Shear. Sashimikitty sent us both a shot of the front and the back of the miniature Bulwark, which is made of a polymer clay.If they made Christmas Tree ornaments like this during the holidays, I would buy ten.

While randomly browsing my realm forums last night I came across a guild that (surprise!) was looking for more members. I'm not really looking for a new guild (happy with the ones I'm in now), so I looked into this just to see what other guilds on the server were up to. They've started with 25 man content, have cleared Karazhan, and have done some of Zul'Aman. What caught my eye however was the guild recruitment video they had. This got me thinking. Do other guilds have recruitment videos? I've heard of plenty of guilds putting together videos of each other running around and having a good time or downing a raid boss. I've been in a few of those myself. But an above average recruitment video? That I don't know. The guild that started this thought process was Epic, on the realm Eldre'Thalas. I've done a pug or two with a few of their members before, and they're nice folks (although they don't know who I am, I'm sure). The video is very professionally done, has a noticeable 'plot' to it, and is of high quality. Props to Phytrion, a member of their guild, who put it together for them. One thing that I find is a little funny is that the character in the end has a complete Tier 4 protection Warrior armor set and is carrying the Bulwark of Azzinoth that drops off of Illidan. It's a cool shield, so I know why they used it, but the combination is a funny choice.Do you have a guild recruitment video? Post a comment with a link and show off your stuff!

I was just thinking that we haven't done a shield in a while (or at least it seems like we haven't done a shield in a while), so here's THE shield.Name: Bulwark of AzzinothType: Epic ShieldArmor: 6336, 174 BlockAbilities: +60 Stamina It's huge! Look at it! You can't even tell what's going on back there! On Equip: Increases defense rating by 29. When struck in combat, has a 2% chance of wrapping you in teflon bacon increasing your armor by 2000 for 10 seconds. That's over two thousand! Armor, as you may know, directly reduces the damage you take even when you get hit. So this proc is a damage reducer, and less damage means a tank that's still standing at the end of the fight. Did I mention how huge it is? Imagine if that thing really was made out of solid metal, with all those spikes and everything. You'd have to have a bonus to strength just to carry it around. How to Get It: This baby belongs, or at least used to belong, as the name might have told you, to Azzinoth. He's not a good guy-- in fact, he's a demon who commanded the Burning Legion way back when. Way back before he met Illidan, that is. When Illidan was just a demon hunter (and not the Lord of Outland), he killed Azzinoth, and according to the rules of the Warcraft playground, took all his stuff. That includes both of those Warglaives of Azzinoth, that Illidan is now known for.And it includes this, Azzinoth's Bulwark. So to get it, you have to take it from Illidan himself. That's right, be prepared like a Boy Scout, drop the big bad, and pick up this shield at a drop rate of around 10-12%.Getting Rid of It: Vendors for 9g 45s 38c. Man, when you look at that price versus the price of the ring we posted the other week, it really makes you wonder what's going on in the heads of those developers.
