You might recognize pieces of the above Street Fighter 5 trailer from earlier this week, but unless you were watching the Capcom Cup last night, you haven't seen the teased return of Charlie that starts around the 1:20 mark. Charlie threw his first punch in Street Fighter Alpha and shares military pal Guile's affection for hurling Sonic Booms (and rocking ridiculous hair styles). As reported by Shoryuken, Capcom Cup contestants received more good news beyond Street Fighter 5's roster addition – through a partnership with Sony, the Capcom Pro Tour and Capcom Cup will return next year with a prize pool worth $500,000. Sounds like a pretty great excuse to us to keep practicing combos. If you're looking for more than just a trailer of Street Fighter 5, last night's stage demo bouts between Ryu and Chun-Li show a few uninterrupted rounds of the wall-breaking PS4 and PC exclusive fighter, as well as the debut of Chun-Li's line of noodle bowl headwear. If traditional sporting events can be supported with branded attire, why not eSports? In a collaborative deal with Capcom, Teespring will produce clothing celebrating the Capcom Pro Tour, with t-shirt, hoodie and tanktop designs already up for reservation. An unspecified portion of the line's proceeds will feed into the $50,000 prize pool for the top three competitors at the 2014 Capcom Cup Finals. This year's Capcom Pro Tour is an 11-stop series that includes EVO 2014 and the Taito Arcade Nationals in its global roster of tournaments. Several more events are left in the 2014 Tour following this weekend's VSFighting 4 event in Birmingham, UK, with December's Capcom Cup Finals wrapping the season in San Francisco. [Image: Capcom]

Ultra Street Fighter 4 is scheduled to hit arcades in the early part of 2014, but first the game needs to be tested. This is where Capcom hopes you come in. Starting on November 29, the company will be testing Ultra Street Fighter 4 at Super Arcade in Walnut, California. From December 6 through 8, players in Pennsylvania will find Ultra Street Fighter 4 at Big E Gaming in Essington. After those tests, it's strictly tournament appearances for the fighter: Ultra Street Fighter 4 hits the annual Capcom Cup tournament on December 14, then jumps the Pacific to appear at Singapore's Tough Cookie Gaming Café on December 20. Full location test details can be found on Capcom Unity. If you can't make it to any of these locations, the good news is that you probably won't miss much. Given the amount of anticipation for anything related to Capcom's most famous fighting franchise, it seems assured that as soon as the location tests start up, we'll see those fortunate enough to play the game flood the 'net with in-depth info on Ultra Street Fighter 4.
