Tales From The Borderlands nets a nerdy voice cast
Tales From The Borderlands, the upcoming adventure game spin-off from the Borderlands series, will feature the voice talents of Nerdist's Chris Hardwick, developer Telltale Games revealed today. Hardwick's character, named Vaughn, is described as the best friend of Rhys, one of the game's primary protagonists. The promo art revealing Vaugh shows him with a scared expression, but what's there to be scared about? Pandora is just a planet overrun with insane robots, psychopathic bandits, telepathic mercenaries and giant monsters, after all. Other names attached to Tales From The Borderlands include Patrick Warburton (Family Guy) and Mr. Video Game Voice himself, Nolan North - or does that title go to Troy Baker now? The problem with movies is that none of them take place in Skyrim. This is Skyrim at the Movies, a take on the classic tale of Superman created by animation outfit Tyrannicon with Chris Hardwick playing the Man of Steel himself.

Need proof of how powerful this internet thing (which you've probably been reading about in magazines) is? Well, this weekend, yours truly is heading in to Boston to catch a Chris Hardwick show. Some of you may recognize him as host of the second most popular basic cable television show on the subject of internet video clips. Hardwick does a podcast, too. Ironically, it gets more listeners than his TV channel gets viewers. Dude makes his living off nothing but internet. And I'm jealous. Anyway, while we're here on this computer bulletin board, we may as well check in with the rest of our staff and see what they're playing this weekend.
